Barry Ferguson says Rangers should demand £15m for Joe Aribo
Barry Ferguson has suggested that Rangers should set a base price of £15million for Joe Aribo at the moment.
The 25-year-old has been playing at a high level this season, and Ferguson says that his price should go up from here on with every strong performance.
Every player has a price, and Rangers may have to sell Aribo if the offer is right.

“That’s why it’s so vital he hangs around for at least the rest of the current campaign because it seems inevitable now that someone is going to come knocking when the window opens, be it Steven Gerrard or some other manager from England’s top flight,” wrote Ferguson for the Daily Record.
“They all know Rangers are looking to trade their top players because the board has been pretty open about it. If an offer comes in that matches the club’s valuation then they’ll do business.
“But Aribo should be the exception to the rule. I’d put a price tag of around £15million on him at this moment, which is £5m more than I would have said just a few weeks ago.”
Difficult
Aribo joined the club for a fee of around £5m.
He has grown into a fantastic player at Ibrox, and Rangers should demand a high transfer fee for him.
Ferguson has suggested that top Premier League clubs, including Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa could be vying for his signature, considering his outstanding form.

However, if there’s an offer on table, Rangers must demand at least three times the money for Aribo who has stunned everyone with his performance.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst must have certain targets in mind if Rangers do end up losing some of their key players in January.
Losing Aribo next month would be a massive blow for the club. He has been superb in recent games.
At the same time, he has a contract at the club till 2023, so Rangers could be tempted to cash in on him if the offer is right.
In other Rangers news, the Gers will terminate this player’s loan deal as soon as they can.
