Barry Ferguson raves about ‘priceless’ Rangers star Joe Aribo
Barry Ferguson says Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo has taken his game to a whole new level this season.
Aribo has been outstanding for the Gers this term but it seems he has been playing at a different level under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
While every player has a price, Ferguson suggests that the 25-year-old is becoming “priceless” for the club.

“Don’t go Joe,” wrote Ferguson for the Daily Record.
“While Rangers have made it clear that every player in the Dutchman’s squad has been given a market value ahead of the January sales, Joe Aribo might just be priceless when it comes to Van Bronckhorst’s hopes of leading the club to a second successive title.
“I’ve rated Aribo highly ever since he first arrived in Glasgow from Charlton.
“You could see straight away he was a talented young man. But, even so, I’ve been amazed at the progress he has made and particularly over the past six months or so.”
Quality
Ferguson is spot on with his assessment.
Aribo has a contract at Ibrox till 2023, and top Premier League clubs could try to lure him away from Ibrox with tempting offers.
Rangers, who are struggling financially, could be tempted to cash in on him if the offer is really good enough.

However, they must resist temptation as Aribo will be key for them in winning the Scottish Premiership title for the second season in a row.
He has always been a talented player, but a switch in the role is doing wonders for him.
The Dutchman has just given him the license to run in channels, move around the penalty area, and exert his influence.
He has scored six goals already in the league, of which three of them have come under the Dutchman.
Another area where he has improved massively is in his technical development and positional awareness.
He is approaching that top-level category, and Rangers must look to keep him with them for as long as they can.
