Craig Moore suggests Rangers will win SPFL title
Craig Moore suggests Rangers will win the Scottish Premiership title this season ahead of Celtic.
The former coach, who worked with Ange Postecoglou during their time together with the Australian national team, feels that it will be a strong title race this time around unlike last season.
Moore feels that Rangers have a “deeper squad” and hence they should last the distance.

“He’s been a breath of fresh air for Celtic. I think he’s done a fantastic job,” said Moore, as quoted by Football Scotland.
“He’s turned them around a lot quicker than I think people could have imagined and there certainly will be a title race this season.
“You see, even with the late winner with 10 men against Ross County, I think that shows that there will be a title race this season.
“I just feel that Rangers have probably got the deeper squad though and I feel that will be enough to enable Rangers to go on and win the title again this season.”
Back to back titles?
Rangers secured the SPFL title last season under Steven Gerrard which was undoubtedly one of their most memorable campaigns in recent history.
The Gers remained undefeated throughout the season, and ended Celtic’s dream of winning ten titles in a row.

This season, the competition is indeed tough, but the Gers seem to have found their momentum just at the right time.
There was a short period of instability at the club when Steven Gerrard abruptly left to join Aston Villa, but Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been outstanding so far.
The transition has been seamless, and the Gers are on a roll at the moment.
They have won seven league games in a row, and some of them have come when they haven’t been at their best.
So, it can be expected that the Gers will get even better as they spend more time under their new boss. The Bears are currently leading the table by four points from Celtic.
In other Rangers news, Foster was fuming with Liam Craig’s dive during the St Johnstone game.
