Kris Boyd shares instant reaction to Rangers draw v Borussia Dortmund live on Sky Sports

Kris Boyd has shared his instant reaction to Rangers drawing Borussia Dortmund live on Sky Sports this afternoon.

The Bears are set to face the German giants in the first knockout round of the Europa League, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst set for a huge tie.

Boyd joked that Erling Haaland hasn’t faced Connor Goldson yet in his career after smashing plenty of records already.

Speaking live on Sky Sports this afternoon, Boyd shared his instant reaction to the draw as soon as the ball came out of the pot.

“Here we go,” he said.

“I’m not too sure how Haaland will be, because I’m sure he’ll not be looking forward to facing Connor Goldson.

“He’s done really well, but he’s not come up against Goldosn yet so we’ll see what happens. It’s obviously going to be a tough tie.

Amazing.

This is the huge tie that everyone was hoping for in Glasgow.

Boyd is clearly excited and he can’t wait to see the likes of Haaland at Ibrox in the second leg of the tie, but that could quickly backfire.

Goldson has looked better under van Bronckhorst, but he has never faced anyone like Haaland throughout his career and this will be a big reminder to him that he can face the best teams if he signs a new contract.

It is all about staying in the tie during the first leg over in Germany, if it gets out of hand, it could get embarrassing.

We always step up on the biggest stage in this European nights, but this is going to take one huge effort to get something positive.
