Rangers braced to receive January bids for Ryan Kent
Rangers are preparing to receive offers in the January window for attacker Ryan Kent, according to the Daily Record.
The report claims that the interest in the 25-year-old may be solidified with Steven Gerrard now at Premier League side Aston Villa.
In August 2021, Gerrard, who was then Rangers boss, feared that Leeds United would look to sign the English winger. [Daily Mail]

Will he leave?
The lure of the Premier League may be too hard to resist and if not January, Kent could be on his way out in the summer.
We saw with Gerrard, when the first legitimate offer came, how he folded his bags and made the journey south of the border.
Much like Gerrard, Kent has greater ambitions too, one of which is playing for the England national squad.
While playing in Scotland does not make him ineligible for the Three Lions, his chances significantly increase should he play in the Premier League.

Gareth Southgate hasn’t really picked a player from the Premiership for his squad and that could be playing on Kent’s mind.
Former Gers midfielder Brian Laudrup has previously urged the club to do whatever they can to keep hold of the attacker.
“‘I could mention a few but if there is one player where I would say ‘keep him at all costs’, it would be Ryan Kent. For me, he is an outstanding prospect,” the Dane told the Glasgow Times in June 2021.
His teammate Connor Goldson, who’s also linked with a move to the Premier League, may be having similar qualms.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Kent and whether he stays at Ibrox beyond this season.
