Robbie Nielson hints at Rangers January transfer plans
Rangers will face Hearts in the Scottish Premiership clash on Sunday away from Ibrox.
Ahead of the match, Hearts boss, Robbie Nielson, has suggested that he doesn’t expect a different Rangers side under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The Dutchman has made a fine start since taking charge of the club, remaining unbeaten in his opening five games, winning four of them.

“There’s been a couple of tweaks but nothing major to be honest with you. They’ve still got the same players,” said Van Bronckhorst, as quoted by Football Scotland.
“Potentially when they get to the January window, they might look to freshen things up, bring new players in and change the style.
“But at this moment in time it’s slightly different but pretty similar to what they’ve had before.”
Change in approach
The west of Edinburgh has not been a happy hunting ground for the Gers in recent times, but Rangers cannot afford to drop their intensity.
Van Bronckhorst prefers to work with the resources he has got rather than making a wholesome change. There hasn’t been any major change from the Steven Gerrard era, as of now, be it in terms of system and style.
The transition under the new manager has been smooth and seamless.

Will Rangers make any signings in January?
It will largely depend on whether Rangers would be able to hold on to some of their key players.
The likes of Glen Kamara, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos or Nathan Patterson could be targeted by other clubs in January, and if the offer is right, the Gers may look to offload some of them.
In such a scenario, signing new players would become a priority. With new arrivals, obviously, there would be a change in style as well. But that’s for the future.
