Giovanni van Bronckhorst set to make late call on injured Gers man
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is set to make a late call on Rangers man Kemar Roofe, according to a new report.
The Daily Record claim that the Dutchman will make a very late decision on the Jamaican international’s fitness.
The Dutchman confirmed earlier this week that he would assess the former Leeds United man, and it seems as if it is going to be a very late call on Roofe.

The 28-year-old started the game against Lyon on Thursday night but was withdrawn in the 73rd minute, and it could be a nervous wait for Roofe to see if he can play against Hearts on Sunday or not [12 December].
Will Roofe play?
Although the Daily Record claim that van Bronckhorst will make a late decision about the forward, they haven’t included him in their provisional squad for the match.
This suggests that even though Roofe hasn’t been totally ruled out of the match, it appears unlikely that he will feature.

This will be a shame because Roofe scored the winner the last time the Bears travelled over to Edinburgh to face a team from Scotland’s capital [01 December].
Of course, the Gers have plenty of other forward options, and the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala were rested for the game on Thursday.
So, you would think that at least one of that pair will start on Sunday.
You would also have to say that given Roofe could make the match tomorrow, his injury must not be that bad, and if he doesn’t play at Tynecastle, we expect to see him against St Johnstone on Wednesday [15 December].
In other Rangers news, GvB has been blown away by one Gers man who barely played under Gerrard.
