Dundee United manager wowed by player linked with Rangers
Dundee United’s manager Tam Courts has been very impressed by his midfielder Jeando Fuchs who was linked with a move to Rangers.
In an exclusive interview with Foot Mercato, the 24-year-old claimed that the Gers had been in contact about a move.
However, he had also spoken to Celtic and one Premier League club as the race for his signature clearly heats up.

Now his manager has come out and praised him.
Speaking to the Scottish Sun, Courts said: “From Jeando’s performance and throughout the last few weeks, you can see he is a top player.
“Not just for us but also in this league.
“I have always gone on record as saying if any players, particularly the top-performing ones, have aspirations to get to the top level, then the types of club you mentioned will naturally be interested.
“Jeando is a focused guy, and our relationship is really strong, and he likes to do his talking on the pitch.”
Strong message.
Fuchs has made 15 appearances for Dundee United this season in which he has averaged 2.3 tackles per game and two interceptions per match.
His average WhoScored rating of 6.72 also ranks him as Dundee United’s sixth-best player so far this season, even though they have dropped off after a good start.
They are still the only side who have beaten the Gers in the league, and Fuchs has been very good for them.
Therefore, you can see why the Bears want him; he has also been described as a “dynamo” by his club’s official Twitter account in the past.
It should be remembered that the likes of Steven Davis and Scott Arfield are getting older, so there will come a point when the Gers need to freshen up their midfield.
Fuchs could be that man, and this could be one to keep an eye on going into January and also the summer of 2022.
However, it doesn’t seem as if his manager wants him to go anywhere just yet.
In other Rangers news, the Gers have been denied fans at the Lyon game.
