Barry Ferguson tips Nathan Patterson to make Premier League move
Rangers youngster Nathan Patterson has been tipped to make a move to the Premier League by Barry Ferguson.
The right-back has impressed whenever he has featured for the Bears, but he has tended to be kept out of the team by captain James Tavernier.
Spanish outlet Fichajes have linked Patterson with a move to Atletico Madrid, while transfer expert Dean Jones has suggested that former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants to take him to Aston Villa.

Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show [26/11/21], former midfielder Ferguson suggests the sky is the limit for the 20-year-old.
“I think he can go on to be whatever he wants to be,” he said.
“I’ve got no doubt about it. If I’m managing in the English Premier League then he is one player I’ve got an eye on.
“I hope not, I want to see the best players stay in Scotland. But he’s only 20 and we’ve seen he’s been exceptional for Rangers and for Scotland.
“In Moldova he got the goal and he set up Che Adams. I just love to watch him play, I think he’s got everything in the locker.”

Plenty of potential
Patterson is extremely highly rated and fans want to see more of the academy graduate on the pitch, but he has been limited to just one league start this season.
That number would arguably be higher if he did not have club captain Tavernier ahead of him in the pecking order.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst brought the 20-year-old on as a substitute on the right-wing against Sparta Prague on Thursday, so he may get more opportunities under the new boss further up the field.
Wherever he plays, he will certainly want more opportunities at club level as his star continues to rise, particularly as he becomes more established in the national team set-up.
Patterson has started three of the four games he has been available for in Scotland colours since the European Championships, notching a goal and an assist against Moldova earlier this month.
If those chances at Rangers do not come, a move away from Glasgow might begin to look more tempting.
In other Rangers news, these are the Ajax youngsters that could follow Dave Vos to Ibrox.
