Rangers could sign Jens Toornstra if Glen Kamara leaves
Rangers could reportedly look to sign Feyenoord star Jens Toornstra in the summer should midfielder Glen Kamara part ways with the club.
According to The Daily Record (07:25 on 18/11/21), Toornstra, who was exceptional and a regular starter under Giovanni van Bronckhorst at Feyenoord, could fit the bill perfect for the Gers.
Van Bronckhorst is currently the favourite to take over the Ibrox hot seat and could look to sign the 32-year-old on a pre-contract in January as his deal at the Dutch clubs expires at the end of the season.

Steer clear
The prospect of losing Kamara, just after he signed a new deal, seems baffling, to say the least.
There are no doubts that the Finland international was mulling over his future, but he eventually decided to sign the dotted line at the Ibrox.
Should he leave, the club will get a good transfer fee from his sale, which they can look to reinvest in someone like for like.
Going for someone who’s 32, albeit on free, is not the right strategy and the Gers board must steer clear of it.

Van Bronckhorst may want a reunion with his Dutch compatriot, but he’s nowhere close to the player Kamara is.
If he’s going to be signed for squad spaces then by all means the board must back the manager, but there’s no chance that he comes in as a replacement for the Finnish midfielder.
