Ramon Hendriks could be an option for Rangers – report
Rangers are close to appointing Giovanni van Bronckhorst as the club’s next manager.
According to reports from the Daily Record, Dutch defender Ramon Hendriks could be a possible target for the Gers in January. He could be one of the players Gio could look to bring in at Ibrox.
Hendriks is a fantastic young talent. The 20-year-old plays at Feyenoord, Gio’s former club, and he is likely to be targeted.

He has made five appearances in the Dutch league this season, and further one appearance has come in the Europa Conference League.
Change in approach
The Gers are struggling financially at the moment, and getting the best deals out in the transfer market could be a real challenge for the incoming manager.
Rangers could be forced to sell some of their prized assets to balance their books. In the long-run, the club will look to turn a profit in the transfer market, something they didn’t achieve under Steven Gerrard.
The Dutch league could be a catchment area. Van Bronckhorst has a thorough knowledge of how the market works in Holland, and his appointment could see Rangers snapping up some of the exciting talents from the Eredivisie.

The youngster is considered a highly-rated talent. Back in 2017, he rejected an offer to join Liverpool. He wanted to complete his development in the Netherlands, and hence rejected a move to Anfield.
The youngster revealed last year that it was really hard to say ‘no’ to Liverpool [Liverpool Echo].
Bolstering the defence is key for Rangers, with Conor Goldson’s contract set to expire at the end of the season. Hendriks would be a fantastic addition for the Gers if Gio can lure him to Ibrox.
