Rangers Super Fans have been reacting after a recent claim that Steven Gerrard wants to take Glen Kamara to Aston Villa.

The Daily Record report that the new Villa manager wants to continue his working relationship with the Finland international in the Premier League.

Villa were linked with a move for the 26-year-old during the summer transfer window, and Gerrard’s Ibrox exit has seen them renew their interest.

Rangers Super Fans have delivered their reaction to this latest report.

Here’s what they had to say…

Inevitable exit?

Rangers have done pretty well to keep hold of their star players over the last few years, namely Kamara, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.

Perhaps the lure of European football has been the added incentive for the trio to continue their Ibrox careers, but with all now in their mid-20s, it seems a big decision could be awaiting them.

For Kamara, he would get the chance to reunite with Gerrard, a manager who has placed so much faith in him, while he would obviously get more exposure and more money in England.

However, would the Gers board be slammed by supporters if they let another key figure leave to the Premier League outfit?

It was a mixed reaction from our panel of Super Fans – some are resigned to letting him leave, as long as the right money is offered, while others are desperate to deny the Villans the chance to raid the club again.

In other Rangers news, a new ‘Favourite’ has emerged in the club’s manager hunt as this Champions League icon is on course for Ibrox.
