Rangers ace Ryan Kent backed to hand Gerrard selection problem
Rangers ace Ryan Kent has been backed by Gary McAllister to hand Steven Gerrard a selection headache ahead of the Ross County game.
Speaking to Rangers TV [via Football Scotland], McAllister waxed lyrical about Kent, who made his return from injury against Brondby on Thursday.
The 24-year-old was introduced while the Gers were losing and helped his side snatch a point and impressed Chris Sutton in the process [BT Sport].

Now, the Gers assistant manager thinks that Gerrard might have to consider playing Kent tomorrow.
He said: “In the last couple of days in the training amongst the squad, Ryan has looked really refreshed.
“He has been out a while. Getting on the pitch was a big boost for him, but certainly for us. I thought he looked really sharp.”
Good news for the Bears.
Kent was carrying an injury for a long time before he finally decided that he couldn’t play anymore, and it seems as if this was a wise decision.
The former Liverpool man had been struggling to find his best form, so this rest should hopefully see the old Kent return.
When he is on it, he is a force to be reckoned with, but that just hasn’t been the case in this campaign.

Remember, he has been described as “outstanding” by Brian Laudrup in the past [Glasgow Times].
So, let us all hope we can see the best of Kent going forward, as the Bears are a much better side when he is in the mood.
This seems like a positive update from McAllister, and it will be intriguing to see if the winger plays on Sunday as the Bears look to keep their lead at the top of the SPFL table.
