Rangers man James Bisgrove slammed by new report
Key Rangers official James Bisgrove has been slammed by a new report from the Daily Record.
Bisgrove is the club’s commercial and marketing director and has sealed a lot of sponsorship deals for the Gers since he has been at the club.
However, after the Bears announced a huge loss on Friday, the Daily Record questioned if he is perhaps not getting the best deals that he can for the club.

They said: “However, supporters might ask if they are getting value for their many sponsorship partners – almost 9000.
“The club’s commercial and marketing director, James Bisgrove, has had plenty of praise heaped on him for agreeing deals.
“There is hardly a day goes by when a new official partner isn’t announced yet; It could be a case of quantity over quality.”
Staggering numbers of sponsors for very little return.
Now, if the Daily Record are right and if the Gers do have nearly 9,000 sponsorship deals, then surely they should be making more money than they are?
Instead, it appears as if they are almost totally reliant on qualifying for the Champions League and the TV money.
So, that raises the question about these sponsorship deals? How much do they actually raise for the Gers?

9,000 is a huge number, yet the Bears are clearly in a bit of financial trouble and could be forced into selling one of their top players in January just to balance the books.
Therefore, the Daily Record are right to look at Bisgrove’s role and question what he is actually doing as the financial pressure is clearly not being eased by these deals that he has agreed.
This is actually a fascinating report, and we recommend any Gers fan to give it a read to understand what is happening with their club.
