Chris Sutton wowed by ‘sensational’ Ianis Hagi after Rangers draw away at Brondby
Chris Sutton was blown away by Ianis Hagi’s finish as the Rangers attacker earned his side an invaluable point in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Hagi, 23, came off the bench to score a second-half equaliser for the Gers in their 1-1 draw away at Brondby.
Ryan Kent was also substituted into the match by Steven Gerrard and assisted Hagi’s goal.

Ex-Celtic striker Sutton was wowed by the impact that both Hagi and Kent had when they were sent on at the Brondby Stadion.
“I’ve got to say, the difference-maker for Rangers was Ryan Kent,” said Sutton on BT Sport 2 on Thursday night after Celtic’s game.
“I know he didn’t score the goal but he’s such an important player, he can do things other players just cannot do.
“The weight of his pass was brilliant and Hagi’s finish was sensational.”

Stunning
It was a moment of magic when Rangers scored their equaliser against Brondby on Thursday night.
While a draw wasn’t the most ideal of results, avoiding defeat, as well as Lyon winning against Sparta Prague, means that a second-placed finish is still very much achievable.
Brondby were there for the taking but it was yet another poor display by the Light Blues as they continued to show their inconsistency this season.
For every good performance like the home win versus Brondby or the 6-1 hammering of Motherwell on Sunday, there are always one or two stinkers that follow.
Fortunately, the Gers are getting the results and they’re lucky they didn’t play Sparta Prague this week otherwise their Europa League campaign could effectively be over.
Hagi and Kent’s impacts were a jou to behold in Denmark.
Romania international Hagi has done well in what has been an up-and-down season for Rangers so far.
The £19,200-a-week [Football Insider] attacker is showing his value with some strong performances here and there but we’d love to see it on a more consistent basis.
