Kenny Miller sends brutal Rangers warning after 6-1 win v Motherwell

Rangers won 6-1 against Motherwell in their Scottish Premiership clash at Fir Park on Sunday.

Despite going a goal down, the Gers came back strongly to produce arguably their best performance of the season so far.

Kenny Miller, the former great Ibrox striker, wasn’t too impressed with Rangers’ defending despite the win.

Miller has suggested that Rangers must stop conceding early goals. Last season, they were very compact at the back. However, that has not been the case so far.

He has warned that there will be games where they may not be able to recover if they keep on conceding goals.

“Rangers are conceding so many goals this season, so much more than the last season. They’re conceding early, and there will come games when they won’t come back,” Miller told to BBC Sports.

Impressive win

Fashion Sakala has been brilliant today for the Gers as he scored his first hat-trick. Skipper James Tavernier also scored from a brilliant volley, while the likes of Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe were also on target.

Motherwell produced a strong fight in the first half with Bevis Mugabi putting them in front, but they were completely outplayed once Rangers started to dominate the game, especially in the second half.

The home side went down to 10 men in the 63rd minute after Stephen O’Donnell receives a second booking. He was late with his challenge on Calvin Bassey.

Rangers now four points clear at the top, while Motherwell remain seventh in the league.

In other Rangers news, Kenny Miller was left gobsmacked by what this Ibrox star did against Motherwell.
