Chris Sutton sends warming Ally McCoist & Rangers Tweet ahead of BT show

Rangers and football fans around the world were left grieving this week as Walter Smith passed away.

The Bears legend touched the hearts of many, and it was warming to see the world of football come together to celebrate his life.

Chris Sutton has shared a glimpse of what to expect on BT Sports’ Scottish Football Extra this evening, and it looks a must-watch.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Sutton shared a glowing message towards Ally McCoist and his words for Smith.

“Scottish Football Extra all filmed and out tonight 6:30 BT Sport 2,” he said.

“I could have listened to Ally McCoist talk from the heart with his love and affection with stories and memories of the great Walter Smith all day. Really well worth a watch tonight.”

Must watch.

It looks as though anyone, not just Rangers fans will be able to tune in to BT Sports this evening and smile.

Smith was one of those legends who simply had it all, and it is only right that the Scottish Football Extra will be made around him and his life.

This is a time where rivalries mean nothing, and most Celtic fans have been brilliant as well – especially the one who left a shirt at Ibrox among the mural.

Sutton will also know more than anyone just how good Smith and his team were at Ibrox having played at a similar time, and McCoist is the perfect example of how good it was.

There will be tears as well as laughter, no doubt, but it will be wonderful to tune in and just listen to some anecdotes of what made Smith just that special – we can’t wait.
