Simon Jordan savages Rangers display v St Mirren live on talkSPORT

Simon Jordan has savaged Rangers for their performance in their 2-1 win over St Mirren on Sunday afternoon.

The controversial talkSPORT pundit labelled the Bears as “poor” in the clash, questioning how the home side managed to lose.

Even Jim White agreed that it wasn’t the best from Steven Gerrard’s men as he watched numerous games throughout the day.

Speaking on talkSPORT this morning live on air, Jordan couldn’t believe his eyes when he watched the Scottish champions on Sunday.

“How St Mirren managed to lose that game is beyond me, and how poor Rangers was,” he said.

“With respect, I like Rangers, I was very, very grateful for their hospitality when we went up there, big admirer of Steven Gerrard, I think he’ll be a top manager.

“That was poor.”

Jim White also agreed with the point before Jordan continued to compare the Bears’ display to changing his new-borns nappy.

Here we go.

Jordan just can’t help himself at times on talkSPORT, and his ability to spark conversations is why he is one of the best in the business.

It was somewhat of a surprise for White to also agree as he watched along this morning, although both admitted they are big admirers.

Rangers may not have been at their best, but they still managed to push through that and pick up an important three points.

That is the sign of real champions – we compare that to Manchester United getting trashed by Liverpool yesterday, they collapsed under the first sign of pressure, and although worst opponents, the Bears never collapse.

Gerrard will never let that happen to his squad, and even if they were poor, he made sure that they didn’t leave without them three points and a grip on top spot.
