Neil McCann claims Morelos snubbed Rangers TV after the St Mirren match

After the Rangers match with St Mirren, Neil McCann claimed that Alfredo Morelos snubbed the club’s TV channel.

Speaking on BBC Sportsound [via the Daily Record], McCann claimed that he saw the Colombian walk straight past Rangers TV, who presumably wanted to interview him after he scored his 100th goal for the Gers.

However, McCann seems to believe that the striker decided to walk straight past them, which confused the BBC pundit.

He said: “I’m watching, I think, one of the press officers walking out with Alfredo Morelos.

“I think Rangers TV have just asked for an interview, and he’s just strolled right past them.

“Just strolled right past them as if he’s not interested. I just think it’s really poor. Sometimes his attitude puzzles me; it really does.”

Morelos is in the spotlight again.

Now, we will have to see if the 25-year-old really did snub Rangers TV or if McCann has got the wrong end of the stick.

After scoring 100 goals for the Bears, we would hope that he would want to talk to Rangers TV; however, if he didn’t and did snub them, that is poor from the striker.

This was a big day for Morelos, and we are delighted that he reached that magical 100 goal mark, and you would think there are many more to come.

Rangers

However, he should be willing to speak to Rangers TV, and we will have to see if McCann was wrong.

In the end, the Colombian scored what proved to be the winning goal to take the Gers back to the top of the table, and when he scored, he jumped into the away end to celebrate with the fans.

Therefore, if he is willing to do that, he should be willing to do an interview after the match.
