Marvin Bartley stunned by Kemar Roofe in Rangers win v St Mirren
Rangers made it hard over the weekend but eventually came out as 2-1 winners against St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
The Bears were behind inside five minutes, but goals from Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos secured all three points and passage back to the top of the table.
Marvin Bartley was stunned by Roofe’s composure under pressure as he slammed home the penalty to bring the game level after a foul on Ianis Hagi.

Speaking on BBC Sportscene late last night, Bartley was stunned by the composure of the Jamaican international when it really mattered.
“As you can see here with Roofe’s penalty, it’s absolutely fantastic,” he said.
“Great power, side foot. Keeper goes the right way at full-stretch, still can’t get to it and that shows you how good of a penalty it is because Alnwick is a big boy.”

Brilliant.
Having seen many years of James Tavernier stepping up and slamming home penalties, things have changed in the past year.
The right-back was usually as reliable as anyone around the world from the spot, but after missing a couple here and there, he handed the baton to Roofe.
The former Leeds man has been flawless ever since and continued that by smashing this one low and hard into the bottom corner.
It is all about confidence, and after being handed a goal on a plate against Brondby, he continued that run of finding the net here.
Roofe will be delighted with yet another goal on his tally, and it appears as though his confidence couldn’t be higher right now – long may that continue.
