Sparta Prague handed another fine ahead of Rangers clash
Sparta Prague have been handed another fine by the Czech FA ahead of their clash with Rangers next month.
The Czech club were previously fined and punished for racist chanting by their fans, which meant that only kids could attend the Gers game.
Now, they have been handed two further fines as their fans continue to cause more trouble, which has led the Daily Record to describe the clash with the Bears in Glasgow next month as a potential “powderkeg”.

Trouble ahead.
Sparta’s fans are clearly trouble, and you would think the police are going to have to be out in force when they visit Ibrox next month.
Otherwise, there could be a lot of trouble as the Czech club’s fans clearly intend to create havoc everywhere they go.
Now, UEFA may have to step in and ban them from attending this game because otherwise, there could be some real problems.
Also, fines do nothing, they don’t impact the fans, and the only thing to stop anything happening when the two teams meet would be to stop the Sparta fans from attending.

Now, given UEFA’s failure to punish the clear racist abuse in the stands towards Glen Kamara during the match in Prague, we can’t see them stepping in and stopping the Sparta fans from attending [Daily Record].
So, we could be in for an explosive night in November when these two sides meet unless something is done about the Sparta fans, which looks unlikely based on recent events.
