Chris Sutton: Joe Aribo will leave Rangers sooner rather than later
Chris Sutton has insisted that Joe Aribo will be leaving Rangers for a big move sooner rather than later.
Steven Gerrard admitted after the 2-0 win over Brondby this week that the Bears will be lucky to keep hold of the Nigerian international.
Ally McCoist fired back and believes there is “no chance” that anything is imminent, but admitted that there will be offers in the future.

Speaking on BT Sports Scottish Football Extra last night, Sutton fired the warning at McCoist and the Bears.
“He’s off,” he said. “Steven Gerrard basically said he’s off.”
McCoist immediately fired back with a shot of his own, but did admit that Aribo has what it takes to play in the Premier League.
“That did come from left-field a little, that did surprise me.
“No chance, Aribo’s performance last night was excellent. He is the type of player that can play at the level down south – there’s no doubt about it.
“What he suggested was that Rangers would do well to keep hold of him. Now, that I think will prove to be the case.”
Here he goes.
Sutton knows exactly what he is doing here.
Football Extra has been a brilliant watch every single Friday night, with McCoist bouncing off the former Celtic man brilliantly.
As for Aribo, as we all know, there will be clubs watching but we have to admit that there are no certainties that he will be going anywhere.
Making look as easy as he did in Europe against Brondby is a massive tick for these Premier League clubs who are looking to improve their squads and have money to throw at the Bears.
The Nigerian just needs to keep his head down and keep pushing us to three points, and he will be rewarded with guaranteed Champions League football if he wins us the league this season.
Sutton is the master of poking fun, but it would be no fun for him should we keep hold of the likes of Aribo for the considerable future.
In other Rangers news, the Bears are set to seal a major signing with one player agreement almost certain in January
