Ianis Hagi hands Rangers jersey to young fan
Ianis Hagi will have made the day of the young Rangers fan he handed his jersey to after the win against Brondby on Thursday night.
His performances on the pitch were eye-catching, but this off the pitch moment is what stole the show.
The fan then posed with the jersey and that picture was shared by the official Rangers Twitter handle.
About this gesture, Hagi said, “I know what it means to a kid, I was the same and I love this sport. I feel it every day with the fans here at Rangers. It’s why I give 100% here every day. I love to be here.”
Hagi is such an incredible character and it comes as no surprise that he’s regarded so highly at the club.
Steven Gerrard will be thrilled to have such a presence inside the dressing room as the typical stereotype surrounding footballers is that they’re snooty and unwilling to connect with the fans.
This encourages supporters to go out and cheer their teams and also builds a great relationship between the club and the fanbase.

There is an age-old cliche that ‘The fans are the 12th man’ which is something that still holds true.
Even today, when the chips are down and the manager’s thrown the kitchen sink at it, the only thing that can help turn things around is support from the fans.
Seeing that kid give such a wide smile makes Thursday night’s result and performance all the more special.
