Confirmed Rangers starting XI v Brondy

Rangers have confirmed their starting for the crunch Europa League clash against Brondby this evening.

Steven Gerrard has been forced into changes with Glen Kamara suspended for the visit of the Danes at Ibrox after his red card last time out.

Confirmed on the official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Bears have started Steven Davis, John Lundstram and Joe Aribo in midfield.

Missing Kamara will be a real blow.

Thankfully, it will only be for this one game and he will be back for the reverse fixture in Denmark as we look to bounce back from the poor start.

Gerrard will be demanding a big response from his side, and where better to do that than in front of a packed Ibrox.

Rangers

Must win.

After losing our opening two games, we simply can’t afford to come away from this without all three points.

Lyon are expected to easily win the group, and if they do the business against Sparta Prague this evening too, it will blow second place wide open.

The Czech side are currently in the driving seat, and they will be desperate to try and take away that second spot from the Gers.

Not only would a big win help us in the Europa League it should also help the form in the Scottish Premiership too.

That last-gasp draw against Hearts was a tough one to take and made it very clear that it won’t be as easy to take home the title this season.

In other Rangers news, the Bears are set to seal a major signing with one player agreement almost certain in January
