Ibrox View: Alfredo Morelos has to start walking the talk

Rangers disappointed at the weekend, playing out a 1-1 draw with Hearts at Ibrox despite having several chances to put the game to bed.

Alfredo Morelos was guilty of squandering a couple of goalscoring opportunities, and the Colombian is clearly suffering from a dip in form at the moment

He has scored just two goals in his last 10 games, and he needs to find his goalscoring boots as soon as possible.

Morelos was rightly criticised by many following his poor showing at the weekend, and he has taken to social media to send a defiant message to his detractors.

The Rangers hitman took to his personal Instagram account to post a picture of himself celebrating a goal by putting his fingers to his lips in a shushing gesture, captioning it five emojis to say ssh and two winking faces.

Morelos wants his critics to shut it, but more is expected from him and he needs to do more in front of goal if he wants that big move he craves.

None of his suitors were willing to meet the asking price of Rangers in the summer, and he has clearly not done enough to convince them so far this term.

He has been in and out of the Colombian squad, and could end up watching the World Cup as a fan next summer if he does not buckle up.

El Buffalo knows how to score goals and is a lethal finisher on his day, but he can be inconsistent at times, and that is not helping anyone.

Morelos is just a goal away from his 100th Rangers strike, and his record is an enviable one.

Having failed to fire the team into the group stages of the Champions League, he should be tearing it up in the Europa League, but that has not yet happened.

Clubs down south definitely still have doubts over his abilities, and he needs to start walking the talk if he wants to take things to the next level career-wise.

In other Rangers news, a Sky Sports pundit has suggested that Bears man will join PL side should offer arrive.
