Kenny Miller reacts to Rangers 1-1 draw v Hearts
Rangers dropped two crucial points against Hearts on Saturday, with Craig Halkett pouncing on Allan McGregor’s error at the death to draw his side level.
The Bears found themselves a goal up in the closing stages of the first-half thanks to a John Lundstram’s worldie, but they failed to double their lead, and that proved costly.
Kenny Miller was not pleased with the performance of his old team, and he is convinced Steven Gerrard would have been left frustrated at full-time.
He told Sky Sports (as shown on their official Twitter account): “For me, I think that result has potentially been coming. When you’re 1-0 up and you’re on top, and you’ve got the opportunity, you need to punish teams.
“Because when you get to that stage and it’s still 1-0, even sometimes 2-0, you can always get pegged back, and obviously in the last minute when you concede, there’s not a lot of time to recover from that and go get the three points.
“I’m sure he’ll be disappointed because it was an opportunity to put a little bit of daylight and maintain that gap at the top of the league, so it was a disappointing end to the game for Rangers.”

Rangers had plenty of goalscoring chances and were in a commanding position for the majority of the game, but that second goal never came.
They have struggled to put games to bed and have been far from clinical this term, and things need to improve quickly.
Hearts had just five shots compared to the Light Blues’ 27.
Despite finding the target just four times, the visitors managed to leave with a point, while the hosts found the back of the net just once after 10 shots on target.
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has just two goals in his last 10 games and he had a game to forget at the weekend.
The Colombian needs to find his rhythm again as the Bears need him to be firing on all cylinders to boost their title defence.
In other Rangers news, a Sky Sports pundit has suggested that Bears man will join PL side should offer arrive.
