Rangers confirm starting XI v Hearts

Rangers have confirmed their starting XI for their game against Hearts in the SPFL this afternoon.

Steven Gerrard has made one change from the side that beat Hibernian before the international break.

Allan McGregor starts in goal. Then in front of him, he is protected by a back four consisting of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun, and Borna Barisic.

John Lundstram and Glen Kamara anchor down the midfield, while Joe Aribo looks like he will play a more advanced role.

Ianis Hagi and Scott Wright take their places on the wings, while Alfredo Morelos starts upfront.

A strong side from Gerrard.

Considering this is a top of the table clash, it is no surprise to see that Gerrard has selected such a strong side as the Gers look to move clear of Hearts.

However, if things start to go wrong, the 41-year-old can call on the likes of Fashion Sakala, Juninho Bacuna, and Kemar Roofe.

However, there is no sign of Scott Arfield.

Either way, though, this is a strong Gers side, and we believe they should have enough to beat Hearts and come out on top and take a huge leap forward in the title race.

The likes of Hagi and Morelos should prove to be too powerful for the Edinburgh-based side, and we can’t wait for this game to get started.
