Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about Neil Lennon’s latest comments on Steven Gerrard and his trophy record.

Speaking to the Scottish Sun, the former Celtic boss pointed out that Gerrard had only won one out of the available nine trophies.

This sparked a reaction from our Super Fans, who aren’t too happy with Lennon’s latest comments on the Bears.

Lennon just loves talking about Rangers.

The former Bhoys manager does love to talk about Rangers even though he has been out of a job since February this year.

However, he has made a factually correct statement here, and the 41-year-old has only won one trophy at Ibrox.

However, considering that he had never managed a senior team when he first arrived in Glasgow, and the Bears were a long way behind Celtic, we actually find this an impressive achievement.

What makes it all the sweeter for Gers fans is that it stopped the Bhoys from winning their tenth league in a row, and they went the whole season unbeaten in the league.

So, yes, he might have only won one trophy, but his team did it with style and dominated the division.

To go from being nowhere near Celtic to that is incredibly impressive, and it seems as if Lennon is probably just a little bit jealous of Gerrard.
