Michael Beale thrilled by Rangers star Ianis Hagi for Romania v Germany
Rangers star Ianis Hagi took all the headlines on Friday evening as Romania travelled to Hamburg to take on Germany.
Despite losing 2-1 in the end, the Bears playmaker handed his side the lead in what could have been a completely different story.
It was an absolute cracker of a goal too, as Hagi did a couple of stepovers, nutmegged Antoni Rudiger and fired into the bottom corner.

Watching along with intent was Michael Beale back home, and he was clearly delighted with what he saw.
Writing on his personal Twitter account after seeing the goal, the Ibrox coach simply put all of the spotlights on one of his main men.
“Ianis Hagi,” he said, accompanied by some clapping emojis.
Sublime.
Wow, what a moment of magic this was.
This is exactly what he were missing in that couple of weeks when forced to be without Hagi after the last international break.
Goals and moments such as this will only bring more eyes onto the playmaker, and more sides will be queuing up ready to throw money at Ross Wilson after watching this goal.
Who can blame them? The deal to bring Hagi to Ibrox is looking more and more of a bargain every single year that passes, and he is improving yet again.
Steven Gerrard was all about power and technique in his career, but now he has players such as Hagi who had that flair to those traits.
We already can’t wait for next week to get our stars back at Ibrox and get stuck back into domestic football once again – bring it on.
