Ian Murray: Rangers will win the league and Celtic may finish fourth
Ian Murray tips Rangers to win the league this season, but does not see Celtic challenging them for the title.
The former Gers player expects Hibs and Hearts to mount a challenge for the Scottish throne, but does not expect them to usurp the defending champions.
He expects the Edinburgh duo to finish ahead of Celtic, who he claims will come good in the next year and a half.
Speaking on the Record Rangers Podcast, the BBC pundit said, “In my opinion, Rangers have the best players, the best squad and they will produce more consistently than Hibs and Hearts will.
“For Hibs and Hearts to compete, it’s really difficult because of budgets. What I do think is both sides could finish above Celtic.
“That’s not to be disrespectful to Celtic in any way because I actually think they will come good in the end over the next 18 months."

Murray is continuing to deliver masterclasses for Rangers even after he's hung his boots.
There were plenty claiming that the Bhoys were in with a chance to win the title after Gers started the season poorly.
However, now the Ibrox giants sit at the top and given their recent form, they look unlikely to relinquish that spot.
Steven Gerrard's done a fantastic job with this side and he's also managed to win over the fans.
Delivering number 55 will forever etch his name in the history books, but the job is not over.
As for Celtic, we think Murray's being a tad generous with his 18-month timeline.
