Rangers Super Fans thrilled with John Lundstram

Rangers Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Rangers Insider Facebook page about John Lundstram.

The 27-year-old was named as Man of the Match on Sunday after a strong display against Hibernian, and it seems as if our Super Fans are impressed by what they have seen [Rangers].

The former Sheffield United man has had a slow start to his career at Ibrox, but things appear to be changing for the better now.

Strong display by Lundstram.

Playing as the sitting midfielder in Steven Gerrard’s midfield three, Lundstram appears to be growing with each passing game.

He was actually heavily involved in the match’s defining moment as he picked up the ball from Allan McGregor and carried the ball forward [BBC Sportscene 03/10/2021].

He could have played a safe pass, but he slipped a ball through the lines.

That was then turned into the path of Joe Aribo. Ryan Porteous then came steaming through and was sent off.

If Lundstram had not played that clever ball, then Porteous would not have made that rash challenge that changed the game.

So fair play to Lundstram, who appears to be earning the respect of the Gers crowd, and in time he could look like a bargain.

Remember, he has vast amounts of experience in England at all levels, and it is good to see that our Super Fans are starting to recognise his growing influence.

In other Rangers news, Gerrard is not happy with one incident from the Hibernian match.
