Rangers Confirmed XI v Hibernian: Patterson starts
Rangers will be looking to regain top spot in the league when they square off against Hibernian later today.
Nathan Patterson has been handed a rare start at right-back with James Tavernier dropping to the bench.
New signing Fashion Sakala was in contention to start, but has been named as one of the substitutes with Alfredo Morelos leading the line.
Via their personal Twitter account, the club announced their eleven which also sees Connor Goldson returning back to the starting eleven.
The Gers have been undefeated since the second weekend of the season and have looked impressive domestically since that result.
However, their form in Europe has left plenty wondering what happened to the side that ended last season without losing a single league game.
There is plenty of room for improvement for Steven Gerrard and his side and the changes need to be seen soon.
However, they will have to do without the services of a number of their first-team players.
Filip Helander, Ryan Jack and Ryan Kent are all unavailable for this game due to injury, but the eleven that’s been named is enough to get the job done today.
Hibs, surprisingly, are yet to be beaten in the league this season, but this is the toughest test they have come across thus far.
While they may not have been overly impressive, they have done enough to get the results and a win against the defending champions could kick-start their season.
