Chris Sutton mocks Rangers after 2-0 defeat v Lyon
Chris Sutton has mocked Rangers after their Europa League clash against Lyon on Thursday evening at Ibrox.
The former Celtic forward alongside Neil Lennon was banned from the stadium due to security concerns, causing a big controversy.
Things weren’t much better on the pitch either, with the Bears falling to a 2-0 defeat against the French side.
Sutton continued to react to the news after the game had finished, with this one surely set to boil on for weeks, if not months.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, the Celtic figure took aim at the club and poked at them after the defeat.
“Didn’t miss much,” he wrote.
This appears as though everything could have been avoided.
Instead of that, we have gone from one end of the scale to the other in the space of hours with all eyes once again on Glasgow.
Sutton has been at Ibrox in the recent past covering games, so for him to all of a sudden be a security risk appears to be a strange decision.
The Heart and Hand podcast did suggest that it was due to his coverage on the club as to why he wasn’t granted access, but that will never be clear.
Rangers have a storm coming their way once again, and they appear to have not learned their lesson off the pitch after yet another controversy.
Hopefully, the squad can keep their minds on the pitch and results don’t start to falter for the Bears, that can’t be allowed to happen.
