Ryan Jack weeks away from Rangers return, in light training

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is weeks away from his return after surgery on his long-term injury at Ibrox.

The Scottish international has returned to light training at Auchenhowie and has been included in the squad for the Europa League group stage.

Jordan Campbell has shared the latest news, insisting the Bears medical staff are taking things slowly after the surgery.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Campbell shared the major injury update that will leave many fans buzzing.

“Just light training for the time being but a matter of weeks I believe,” he wrote.

“Nothing more specific than that yet that I know of. Being cautious after the surgery to make sure everything is healed properly, which is understandable.”

Counting down.

This will be brilliant news for everyone at Ibrox.

Jack returning to full fitness after missing all of these months through his injury hell, it will be excellent to have back around the matchday squad.

Steven Gerrard is said to see some of himself in the holding midfielder, and he could be the boost in the squad to kick on and assert our dominance while defending our title.

After a fragile start, the form is starting to arrive in Glasgow and the return of Jack could come at a critical time for the Bears to put their foot on the gas.

Having Steven Davis and Jack in that midfield three will be a beautiful sight, and it will push the veteran further forward to dictate games with ease.

We already can’t wait for this one.
