Predicted Rangers starting XI v St Johnstone
Rangers return to Scottish Premiership action this weekend with a tough trip to St Johnstone on Saturday.
Steven Gerrard has numerous issues to tackle ahead of the clash at McDiarmid Park and it could see a reshuffle.
Ianis Hagi is the latest casualty who will miss out, testing positive for COVID-19 while away with Romania on Tuesday.
Allan McGregor should return to action in goal, taking the gloves from young Robbie McCrorie after two stunning cameos.
James Tavernier will hopefully return at right-back with Nathan Patterson still missing out and Borna Barisic on the other flank.
Conor Goldson will continue, but with Filip Helander struggling on international duty with fitness, Leon Balogun will move centrally.
That leaves Steven Davis ahead of them to control the game as he so often does for the Bears when needed.
With Hagi out, it will be Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo in midfield, with both getting through international duty unscathed.
The latter had to miss Nigeria’s trip to Cape Verde yesterday due to quarantine rules in the United Kingdom to make himself available.
Alfredo Morelos didn’t travel this time around during the break, and he will be ready to be unleashed against St Johnstone.
Ryan Kent will be one side of him having had chance to rest and recover, and it may be a debut for Juninho Bacuna.
The flying winger arrived from Huddersfield last month, and it could finally be time to unleash him for the first time in the Scottish Premiership.
Here’s how we expect the Bears to line up on Saturday…
