Rangers star Ryan Jack's return to the first team is still unknown
Rangers star Ryan Jack’s return to the first team is still unknown, according to a report from the Daily Record.
They claim that the 29-year-old’s continued absence remains a mystery, and they claim that it is still unclear when he will finally be able to be used by Steven Gerrard.
Jack was initially injured in February earlier this year and missed the run-in to the end of the 2020/21 season, and he also missed the Euros and still hasn’t returned over the summer, and it seems he could be out for a bit longer yet.
Rangers are missing Jack.
The former Aberdeen man just sits at the base of the midfield and protects the back four, and without him in their side this season, the Gers have been a bit leakier at the back.
It would be nice to know when he is expected to return as Rangers fans could then set a date and know that everything will be fine once he is back.
However, the fact that his return is still unknown is concerning as the uncertainty doesn’t help anyone.
Jack is a player who Steven Gerrard loves and he has had to find a way to manage without him, but he must have hoped that he would have the 29-year-old back and available now?
Instead, the wait goes on.
Jack is an important player for the Gers, and we hope that he does return from injury soon, but this report is hardly positive, and the wait for a clear update goes on.
