Tom English reacts to new Rangers controversy this week

Tom English has delivered his verdict on Twitter this week as Rangers were hit with yet another new controversy.

According to the Daily Record, the police are now investigating “hate-filled tweets” that were sent from accounts of members of the Heart and Hand podcast.

BBC pundit, English, is one of many to comment on the issue, with some asking for the Bears to finally break their silence.

English shared the message on his personal Twitter account late last night, and his two-word reply made it clear

“Oh dear,” he wrote.

What now?

There is a big problem bubbling at Ibrox.

Not only are there ongoing investigations over the behaviour of their fans after the Celtic game, but this has also arrived.

The Heart and Heart podcast have sought legal advice, and are insisting that advisors have told them that the Tweets do not pass the threshold for further action to be taken.

An apology was also sent, but in this day and age, is that good enough anymore?

This once again brings up the question of why the mainstream media were replaced by these fan-owned outlets during press conferences and so on.

Is there an attack from the mainstream? Or are they simply bringing to light problems that can not be ignored?

With the police now investigating, surely answers will soon be given the everyone involved in this scandal.

Something needs to happen, and quickly.
