Ross Wilson identified Juninho Bacuna as perfect Rangers signing
Rangers finally completed the signing of Juninho Bacuna from Huddersfield Town on Thursday evening.
The Bears announced the signing of the midfielder at half-time of the 1-0 win against Alashkert in the Europa League at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard wanted to bulk out his midfield after the majority of the workload was shared by the same players last season.
The Daily Record has shared that Gerrard believes that too much was asked of Glen Kamara, Steven Davis and Joe Aribo last season.
Ross Wilson is said to have identified Bacuna as the “perfect” option to relieve some of that from the mainstay trio.
Arriving for a reported small fee with appearance-based add-ons, Bacuna appears to fit the bill of what the club are looking for.
We could even get our first taste of the 24-year-old in action on Sunday against Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
