Rangers table bid for Crvena Zvezda midfielder Mirko Ivanic
Rangers have made bid to sign Crvena Zvezda and Montenegro midfielder Mirko Ivanic, according to Mozzart Sport.
The Serbian news outlet reports on their website that the Gers have offered £3million for the versatile 27-year-old, who can play in the centre of the midfield or on the wings.
It is understood that this is a tempting offer for Crvena Zvezda as they were knocked out of the Champions League last week.

Game changer?
Ivanic is a player who not many Rangers fans will have heard of but when you look at his stats from last season, you cannot help but get excited about the prospect of signing him.
According to Mozzart Sport, the Montengro international is “one of the best players” in the Serbian Super Liga.
Last season, the former BATE Borisov star scored 20 goals and supplied 16 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions to fire his side to the league title and Serbian Cup glory.
Crvenda Zvezda also reached the knock-out stages of the Europa League last term before being knocked out by AC Milan on away goals. Ivanic even managed to supply as assist away at the San Siro for his side.
Although Serbian football was stunned by Crvenda Zvezda’s exit from the Champions League at the hands of Moldovan minnows Sherrif Tiraspol this summer, Ivanic has again started the season strongly with four goals in nine appearances in total.
He’s definitely someone we wouldn’t mind seeing at Ibrox if he can translate his form in Serbia over to Scotland.
In other Rangers news, the Gers want to agree a deal to sign this new player for the first-team before 8am on Friday.
