Spartak Moscow in talks to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara
Spartak Moscow have revived their interest in Glen Kamara and are now in talks over a deal to sign the Rangers and Finland midfielder, according to RB Sport.
The Russian news outlet reports on their website that “the possibility of a transfer is being discussed at the moment”.
The Scottish Sun has added that Spartak are boosted by Rangers’ failure to reach the group stages of the Champions League and are eyeing a £10million deal for 25-year-old Kamara.

Cash in?
Kamara is one of those players who you really don’t want to see leave Ibrox this summer.
He, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos are probably the three most sellable assets but they’re also going to be a pain to replace if they are moved on.
However, if Spartak come in with a big offer, it may be hard for the Light Blues to reject a deal for someone they paid £50,000 for in 2019.
Speaking last December, Rangers’ managing director Stewart Robertson admitted that the Gers “need to start moving one or two players a year” in order to have a sustainable business model [FourFourTwo].
After dropping out of the Champions League and missing out on millions of pounds, Robertson’s words may start to hit home.
Spartak are bankrolled by Russian billionaire Leonid Fedun [Forbes] so there’s a good chance they’ll be able to come up with a good offer for the Finnish midfielder.
Selling Kamara could offset losses without the need to sell Kent or Morelos too.
We want the ex-Dundee man to stay, we really do.
But it’s starting to feel as though someone big may have to go this summer.
In other Rangers news, this exit-linked Gers star has failed to read the room with a very ill-timed tweet.
