Spartak Moscow deny reports over Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara
Spartak Moscow are not in talks to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara despite recent reports, according to Sky Sports News.
RB Sport claimed on Monday [16/08/21] that the Russian giants had revived their interest in the 25-year-old and opened talks over a deal to take him away from Ibrox this summer.
However, writing via their Twitter account on Tuesday, Sky Sports have shared what they have heard from the club themselves.

They wrote: “Spartak Moscow have told Sky Sports News they are not in talks to sign Glen Kamara following reports linking the Rangers midfielder with a move to the Russian club.”
A spokesman for Spartak told Sky Sports News: “Spartak are not interested in Glen Kamara, and are not negotiating with him or his representatives.”
Relief
Our Champions League exit last week has led to widespread speculation that we will have to sell our best players.
Kamara is certainly among those, with the likes of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo also likely to come under threat due to their talents and ages.
We’re aware that there may have to be cost-cutting measures as a result of our two defeats to Malmo, or that players may seek pastures new to play in Europe’s elite club competition.
But we’re certainly not expecting a fire-sale, and really no more than one should be allowed to leave this summer, particularly with the season already well underway.
A move to Spartak would not have made much sense for the Finland international either.
Sure, he may be able to play Champions League football there, but he deserves to go to a better league than Russia if and when he exits Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has suggested that Light Blues stars are set to exit Ibrox as the club looks to balance their books.
