Rangers defender Nikola Katic has endured a nightmare year with injuries during the success at Ibrox.
The Croatian featured in pre-season against Brighton but has since been forced into the B team for minutes.
That was a sign that he was far off the senior side, and the Sun have now reported he could leave this month.
It is suggested Ross Wilson has instructed Katic and his agent to find a new club before the deadline in two weeks.
Crashing out of the Champion League has helped financial pressure on the club, and players leaving may be the only way to halt that.
Katic could be the perfect candidate to leave.
The Croatian hasn’t played in over a year, and there are now four names ahead of him in the pecking order.
Conor Goldson, Filip Helander, Leon Balogun and Jack Simpson have all found their roles during the enforced absence of Katic.
We asked our esteemed panel of Rangers Super Fans over on Facebook if this would be a mistake, and the response was overwhelming.
The majority insisted that it would be a massive mistake from the club to let Katic leave, claiming he must be given a chance.
