Rangers star Kemar Roofe praised by Daily Record journalist
Rangers star Kemar Roofe has received some praise from Daily Record journalist Mark Pirie.
The reporter running the paper’s live blog was wowed by the display of the former Leeds United man in the first half of the Gers’ game against Dunfermline.
The 28-year-old was handed his first start of the season for the Gers by Steven Gerrard, and Pirie claimed that he was “clearly in the mood”.

Impressive stuff from Roofe.
Rangers have blown away Dunfermline after a tough week for the Gers, but an early goal from John Lundstram set them on the way.
Then Scott Wright and Ianis Hagi added to the scoreline before Roofe got his two goals that he clearly deserved.
However, the question is now can Roofe and Rangers add to their tally as they look to obliterate Dunfermline.

Roofe has been described as “unbelievable” by Steven Gerrard in the past, and it is clear that he had a strong first half upfront as Rangers’ striker [Sky Sports].
Hopefully, he can replicate that form in the second half and make a claim for the Gers’ Europa League game against Alashkert FC next week.
Having an in form and fit Roofe will be a huge boost for Gerrard going forward.
In other Rangers news, one pundit was thrilled with the performance of one Gers player against Dunfermline.
