Predicted Rangers starting XI v Malmo

Rangers have endured a nightmare week ahead of their Champions League clash against Malmo on Tuesday evening.

The Bears go into the second leg 2-1 behind on aggregate, and after losing their 40-match unbeaten run in the Scottish Premiership.

Steven Gerrard was far from pleased with his side, and will want a response in front of a packed Ibrox.

Rangers

Allan McGregor will return in between the sticks after Jon McLaughlin once again started in the league.

The back four will also have one change, with Filip Helander dropping out for Leon Balogun, who returns after his suspension.

James Tavernier, Conor Goldson and Borna Barisic will continue in the back four, and will remain undroppable for most of the season.

Steven Davis was the man to keep us in the tie with his last-gasp strike, and he will be in holding midfield.

John Lundstram has endured a shocking week, but will start due to Glen Kamara still being suspended.

Ianis Hagi will hopefully recover from his knock and start in that attacking midfield role which has seen his shine over the past couple of years.

Joe Aribo will be pushed onto the left, and hopefully his power and ability to roam in the final third will be a real weapon.

Ryan Kent has struggled so far, and has dropped far too deep and that is something that needs to change tomorrow night.

Alfredo Morelos will continue after showing glimpses of promise only two days after coming out of quarantine on Saturday.

Here’s how we expect them to line up…
