Keith Jackson destroys Rangers over Conor Goldson contract saga
Keith Jackson has destroyed Rangers over their ongoing contract saga with defender Conor Goldson this week.
The Daily Record regular has even suggested that the head of the mainstay is elsewhere after losing our 40-match unbeaten run against Dundee United.
Goldson has admitted that he wants to stay, and there were reports of a new three-year deal, but no announcement has happened yet.

Writing for the Daily Record on Monday, Jackson took aim at the Bears over their dealing of this situation at Ibrox.
“Connor Goldson’s head also appears to have been somewhere else over the last week or so,” he wrote.
“Is this a consequence of a long-running contract negotiation which is fast becoming something of a saga?
“Why on earth, given Golson’s status as the permanent rock in Gerrard’s defence, has his new deal still not been signed off?”

Get it done.
This is a boost everyone around the club needs right now.
Everyone will have been feeling down after that unexpected defeat saw our unbeaten run come crashing down, and Goldson is usually one of those tasked with turning that around.
If the one player who starts every single game and completes every single minute extends his stay, then that sends a message to everyone trying to get to that position.
Jackson certainly needs to calm down though, he is writing for the Daily Record, the publication that broke the news that Goldson had signed a new contract, so maybe the announcement is being timed.
It will come, we just have to be patient, although it is very hard to do that when this so-called “saga” is surrounding one of your best players.
Let’s make this a perfect week by beating Malmo and then seeing Goldson sign on that dotted line, we need it.
