Andy Walker thrilled by James Tavernier for Rangers v Dundee United
Rangers got back to Scottish Premiership action this afternoon as they took on Dundee United at Tannadice.
It was a hostile start to the game, with the home side trying to put as much pressure on the Bears as they could.
Andy Walker was once again on commentary duties and picked out James Tavernier as the one pushing his side forward.

Speaking during the first half on Sky Sports, Walker singled out the skipper for his runs from deep to spring numerous counter-attacks.
“It’s a brilliant run from James Tavernier,” he said.
“The run from Tavernier showed tremendous desire, he is always so consistent.”

Magnificent.
You don’t need to ask Tavernier twice to get forward and provide some of the best support you will ever see from a defender.
The skipper has made a name for himself as one of the best right-backs in the world in terms of goal involvements and keeps looking to add to that.
John Lundstram had the chance to counter, which he did quite slowly, but Tavernier bombed past him, collected the ball, and if it wasn’t for a Charlie Mulgrew block, could have scored.
When Walker is even in your corner showering you with praise, you know you’re doing something right, but Tavernier won’t need to be told that.
Steven Gerrard will be thankful for his skipper, who also has Nathan Patterson pushing him along, the future is very, very bright.
