Fenerbahce to evaluate offers for Rangers-linked Bright Osayi-Samuel
Fenerbahce are reportedly open to parting ways with attacker Bright Osayi-Samuel this summer, amid links to Rangers.
According to Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Rangers continue to retain an interest in the 23-year-old’s services, along with their cross-town rivals Celtic.
Fenerbahce, despite having signed him in January, are understood to be looking to ship him out and have slapped a price tag of £2.6million on him with the player struggling to adapt to the Turkish club’s system.

Need another attacker?
On the wings, where Osayi-Samuel usually operates, the likes of Sakala, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and Ianis Hagi are already present and we don’t think that the former QPR attacker is an upgrade on them.
We’ve already signed Fashion Sakala this summer and have Cedric Itten, Kemar Roofe and Jermain Defoe in our ranks for next season even if Alfredo Morelos leaves.
If he doesn’t, then there’s no need for us to shell out that kind of money on another forward and we would rather see that money invested in the midfield.

The 23-year-old may have enjoyed his moments of brilliance on the shores of Great Britain, and was once called “Exciting” by EFL pundit Don Goodman [Sky Sports, 9/12/20, 7:35 pm], but he’s not someone we need and it would be surprising if the club consolidate their interest in the player by tabling an offer for him.
During Osayi-Samuel’s Championship days with QPR, he proved to be a lively player and scored 11 goals and provided 13 assists.
However, he has failed to live up to that billing in Turkey and there are no guarantees that he turns around his fortunes should he move to the Ibrox.
We should be looking at players that have proven themselves for a few years and have got better with each passing year.
