We are now closing in on another deal that could save and earn us millions in the near future.
Alegria only moved to Finland from Colombian outfit Deportes Tolima last year, but could soon be following in the path of older compatriot Alfredo Morelos in moving to Ibrox.
The 25-year-old joined us Finnish side HJK Helsinki in 2017 and has now established himself as one of the best players in the land.
Alegria will most likely be joining Rangers B in the Scottish Lowland Football League once he completes his move, but could be playing for Steven Gerrard’s side sooner rather than later.
The youngster comes highly rated and would be looking to make his mark like Morelos has done.
Rangers would be playing in Europe, the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup this season, and youngsters from the B team could be given a run given the tight schedule.
Alegria will have to take his chance whenever he is beckoned on, and an official move could be confirmed in the coming days.
