Alfredo Morelos appears to be back in his house in Scotland ahead of Rangers return
Alfredo Morelos appears to be back in his house in Scotland ahead of his return to the Rangers first team, according to his latest Instagram story.
The Colombian posted a picture of him appearing to be back in his house after he had an extended break from the Copa America and had to quarantine in a hotel on his return to Scotland.
The Gers got their league season underway on Saturday with a comfortable 3-0 win over Livingston, and it appears as if they are set to be further boosted by the imminent return of the 25-year-old as he is now back in Scotland and should be raring to go.
When will we see Morelos in action?
The Colombian has been almost relentlessly linked with a move to FC Porto throughout the whole summer transfer window so far. However, as it stands, he is a Rangers player, and it is fantastic to see that he is back in his house.
Steven Gerrard was asked recently about Morelos’ future, and he appeared to be growing tired of constantly talking about where the Colombian might end up [Sky Sports]. Therefore, it must be a relief to see him back in Scotland in his house, and you would expect him to be returning to training imminently.
The Gers have plenty of options upfront this season after the addition of Fashion Sakala, so Morelos is going to have to fight even harder to get in Gerrard’s team.
Hopefully, he has kept himself in good shape and can gain match fitness quickly so that he is ready to contribute to the Gers’ season as quickly as possible.
It is good that he is now back in his house and, hopefully, he is back out on the field in no time.
In other Rangers news, one pundit has suggested that the club are preparing to back Steven Gerrard.
