Chris Sutton says Ally McCoist is still milking Rangers Premiership title

Chris Sutton is yet to get over Rangers winning the Scottish Premiership title last season, and has claimed Ally McCoist is still milking the triumph over Celtic.

BT Sport’s Scottish Football Extra has returned, with the duo connecting over the internet to make a video recording for the programme.

McCoist predicted that Rangers would be successfully defending the title come 2021-22, and when Sutton asked by how many points, he replied: “I don’t think they would win it by the turn of the year…”, and the comment left the former Celtic striker in a fit of laughter.

Rangers

Sutton took to his personal Twitter account to post the clip, accompanying it with the message:

“Scottish Football Extra is back tonight on BT Sport 2…he’s had to wait a long time for this, so nice to see Ally still milking Rangers one title in the last decade…”

Payback time Chris!

Sutton has never let an opportunity to mock Rangers pass him by, and we have had to put up with his constant jabs at us over the years.

The Celtic hero was always quick to make fun of the Light Blues on Twitter, commenting on almost every draw, loss, transfers and major news concerning the club.

We have heard less of him since we won the title in convincing fashion, and Sutton has now switched to ranting about the Hoops board anytime his old club fails to win.

McCoist deserves to boast about Rangers and make a bold prediction about us wrapping up title number 56 as early as possible again next season.

From what we have seen from Ange Postecoglou’s side so far, Celtic could be struggling to finish in second place at the end of the season.

Rangers

Going by both teams’ summer transfer businesses, we are the better side entering into the new campaign, and qualifying for the Champions League group stages would further rub salt into the injury for Sutton.

Rangers are set to dominate Scotland for years to come, and the Celtic legend is not ready for what is coming.
